Our classes

We do many fun things in our classes with Mr. Pat. Come check out a class here to see what we do every day.

English - Poetry

One of Mr. Pat's favorite topics is poetry. In this unit we spend time getting to know the different parts of poetry and write your own poems.

Math - Lego WeDo 2.0

Mr. Pat likes robots and wants his students to know as much about technology as they can for the future. This is a good start with Legos.

Social Studies

The world is a big place with many cultures and ways of living. Let's learn as much as we can about all of them to become more understanding.

Online Reading Log

Children all read at least 20 minutes every day in our class and record it in their reading logs. Children are good at losing reading journals, so we have ours online! Nobody is going to lose the internet! At Reading Rewards, students have their own online reading room to show off what they've read to their friends and classmates. They can read each other's recomendations and see what great books classmates are reading too. It is a great way for parents to keep up with what their children are reading.

The 4 R's

Here are the 4 R's that help guide us every day at school. You can earn points for showing these at school. You can convert them into coins too!

Rigor

Always work hard and do your best. Never complete work unless you are satisfied you can do no better.

Respect

Treat others politely and how you would want to be treated. Adults must be treated extra politely.

Relationships

Be kind and helpful to everyone. Be the friend to others that you want to have.

Responsibility

Do your part to take care of our school and your belongings. Complete all your duties and jobs.
